Just 30 minutes from Holbox is Isla Pájaros (Bird Island) where, throughout the year, more than 140 species of birds visit which live in the Yucatán Peninsula. This is a protected nature area which has trails and terraces for you to admire the flamingos, pelicans, ducks and other species in their natural habitat.
